pizza man

I am not a very healthy person at present. It’s a problem I’m trying to change.

One facet of this is obviously going to be that I need to eat healthier than I have been. I live a hectic life, and when I’m not working on something I prefer doing things that are not cooking a meal to be enjoyed by myself. So I order food a lot, and since I tend to eat alone, I tend to eat quickly and without much thought.

But speedo season is fast approaching, so I need to reign it in and get my diet together.

So far, HealthyOut has been helping me with this. It’s an app that helps you make healthy meal choices without the need to think too much about it (God forbid I have to actually dedicate thought to my eating habits).

When you download the app and register as a user, you can select your dietary preferences from a list of all the whack diets people are getting in on these days, like:

  • Balanced
  • Atkins
  • Paleo
  • China Study
  • Glucose control
  • Gluten-free
  • Lactose-free
  • Low-carb
  • Low-fat
  • Low-calorie
  • Mediterranean
  • Pescetarian
  • Vegetarian
  • Vegan
  • High-protein
  • Heart-healthy

You then tell the app if there are foods you absolutely will not eat, so you can be all “GTFO of here with your shellfish!”

Once you’ve specified all of your preferences, you go ahead and type in your address, then BOOM. The app suggests all kinds of healthy stuff for you to eat at restaurants in your neighborhood.

In addition to recommending healthy dishes, it recommends special requests you can make when ordering that will make the meal an even better one for your sexy body.

You can customize your search based on whether you want delivery, pick-up, or a nice sit-down dinner someplace.

HealthyOut is essentially GrubHub if Jillian Michaels was in charge of putting together all of the menu options at every single restaurant (like no mayo on a sandwich, and to substitute white rolls for wheat, etc.).

What I especially like about it is that it prevents me being my own worst culinary enemy. Oftentimes I’ll log onto a food delivery website with pure intentions to snag something healthy, but will be quickly deterred by stuff like General Tso’s chicken or anything that includes copious amounts of ranch dressing. HealthyOut doesn’t even show you these items. It eliminates the temptation.

So give it a download today or visit the website. Check it out, and we can embark on a weight loss adventure together.

Let’s get sexy in time for summer, fellas. The ladies love a lean and cut man, I’m told.

The only problem with HealthyOut is at present it’s only available in New York City. But if you want to move here, that’d be cool. I need a workout buddy.
