If you want to read “Women,” go for it, but these are books that have the power to shift your perspective, light your imagination, and perhaps give you a touch of needed sensitivity (if only for a few hours). Not an easy read, or a fulfilling one (at least in the traditional sense of the word), but Burroughs' drug-fueled ramblings (aka vignettes) will either make you want to do a LOT of drugs, or avoid them all together.
